Named for a Calgary Legend, Built for the Next Generation
Hotchkiss is named after Harley Hotchkiss – the Calgary oilman, philanthropist, and co-founder of the Calgary Flames – which tells you something about the community’s intent: rooted in Calgary, built for the long haul.
Developed by Hopewell Residential and Qualico Communities, Hotchkiss sits on the southeast edge of Calgary, bordered by Marquis of Lorne Trail SE, Stoney Trail, and 146 Avenue SE. What sets it apart is the landscape – a 30-acre natural wetland at the community’s heart, surrounded by 51 acres of parks, pathways, and boardwalks across a 237-acre development.
This isn’t a community squeezed into whatever land was left over. It was planned around the water.
